Our company has always been fully aware of the economic, social and institutional environment in which we find ourselves, being fully committed to achieve improvement in the sustainable development <\/strong>of our work day after day.<\/p>\n\n

First step towards sustainability:<\/h3>\n\n

The first step we took to introduce this added value in our company took place in 2008. <\/p>\n\n

Dupen positioned itself that year as a leading pioneer in the use of renewable energies, inaugurating the largest solar park in the Valencian Community. the largest solar park in the Valencian Community: a 35,000 m\u00b2 photovoltaic plant<\/a><\/strong>Dupen’s 35,000 m\u00b2 photovoltaic power plant was installed on the roofs of our industrial warehouses.<\/p>\n\n

An essential driver to contribute to sustainability \n sustainability<\/strong>\n<\/a> thanks to its power output of 850 kilowatts and production capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts per hour.<\/p>\n\n

Second step towards sustainability:<\/h3>\n\n

The second step toward achieving our goal of becoming a 100% sustainable company involves using natural, eco-friendly, and recycled materials<\/strong> in the production of our mattresses and upholstery accessories, as well as utilizing renewable energy sources like solar power, thereby minimizing electricity consumption. <\/p>\n\n

Third step towards sustainability:<\/h3>\n\n

The latest step we have taken towards sustainability is supported by collaboration with our partners<\/strong>. At Dupen, we always collaborate with the best suppliers in the industry and manufacture using raw materials from certified providers, employing the latest technologies in 360\u00ba recycling<\/strong>. This makes us one of the leading manufacturers of sleep systems, where 100% of the waste we generate is sent to recycling plants <\/strong>with the goal of giving it a second life, thus promoting a circular economy. <\/p>\n\n

For years, our mission has been and always will be to reduce the total tons of waste we generate in our production processes. <\/p>\n\n

A revealing figure is the total of 188,100 kg of waste<\/strong> that we generated in 2022,<\/strong> a large amount less than in previous years.<\/p>\n\n

From this year\u2019s data, a total of 158,004 kg<\/strong> has been given a second life, allowing us to recycle nearly 84% of our waste, <\/strong>compared to the remaining 16% that could not be reused.<\/p>\n\n
